#TheDistrict2025 has finished its third edition that took place from Monday 30th September to Wednesday 2nd October in Fira Barcelona – Gran Vía with the participation of 14,537  investors and professionals. It is the leading international professional event where the industry’s leaders met,  conversations turned into deals, and every handshake became the beginning of new business.

This is a space where the global capital ecosystem is brought together to understand the yields of each asset class, the current economic cycle, the timing of different asset classes (traditional and alternative), the risk and return profile of core, core-plus, value-add and opportunistic investments, and where to discover the trends of the different real estate markets.

The District also hosted multiple networking activities that fuelled deal-making and strategic alliances: the Leadership Summit, the World Class District Awards 2025, the Welcome Party, the Closing Cocktail, and the PropTech Startup Forum, where selected startups pitched their solutions to top investors and global companies.

In 2025, we welcomed Italy as Guest Country Partner, and Naples & Rome as Guest City Partners. We also recognised excellence through the World Class District Awards, including the Investor Personality of the Year Award presented to Michael Abel.
