General Terms & Conditions

1. Organizing company

NEXT BUSINESS EXHIBITIONS S.L. (hereinafter NEBEXT) with registered office at calle Enrique Granados 86-88, Planta 1a – 08008 Barcelona and holder of Tax Identification Number B-87396818 (hereinafter the “Organizer”), is the organizer of the event (hereinafter the “Event”).

 

2. General Information

This Agreement shall not be deemed entered into between you and the Organizer unless the Organizer acknowledges your purchase order by e-mailing you to confirm your registration for the Event. In this regard, acceptance shall be deemed valid for all purposes upon receipt of the confirmation email sent by the Organizer. The confirmation email will include a link to the current General Terms and Conditions for Visitors, which may be amended from time to time. The prices of the products and services available at the Event will be those indicated at the time of purchase on the Event website. The Organizer reserves the right to change or modify prices at any time without prior notice.

 

3.Data protection:

4. Responsibilities

The Organizer is not responsible for any errors and/or omissions, and reserves the right to modify the information, specifications and description of the services listed.

 

The Organizer undertakes to correct any errors and/or omissions as soon as possible after being informed of their existence.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer provides its Website and its content “as is” and makes no express and/or implied warranties in relation to such Website and/or the information contained therein, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

 

Furthermore, the Organizer does not represent or warrant that the information accessed through this Website is correct, complete or up to date.

 

The Organizer shall not assume any liability whatsoever for consequential damages and/or loss of profits, losses or pecuniary damages and/or losses arising from claims brought by third parties in connection with the Organizer’s website and/or any other services provided to such third parties.

 

5. Cancellation or change of tickets

The holding of conferences during the Event is subject to the number of visitors expected. For this reason, once the tickets have been purchased for a specific conference or date of the congress, the purchase cannot be cancelled and no refund of the amounts paid will be granted.

 

In the event that the Event is cancelled due to force majeure, health emergency and/or in cases where the cancellation of the event is attributable to NEBEXT, NEBEXT will proceed to refund the amount of the accreditation, upon request of the User. In any case, NEBEXT is only obliged to reimburse the amount paid by the User for the pass, without, in any case, such reimbursement including other cancellation expenses such as transportation, accommodation, per diems, etc.

 

Illegal resale of a ticket or attempted illegal resale of a ticket constitutes sufficient cause for the cancellation of such ticket without the right to refund or any other type of compensation. NEBEXT shall be exempt from any claim related to possible direct and/or indirect expenses that such cancellation may cause to the User, such as the cost of registration, transportation costs, accommodation, per diem, etc., which shall be borne by the User.

 

Tickets may not be used for advertising, commercial or promotional purposes or for games, contests or activities of chance without the express and reliable authorization of the Organizer.

 

The Organizer may change the date and/or place of the Event for organizational, technical or other reasons that justify it. The Organizer undertakes to communicate such changes to the Visitors as soon as possible in order to reduce inconveniences. Such communication will be made to the Visitor at the e-mail address written on the registration form.

 

Inability to attend the Event or errors made in the purchase of tickets (e.g. misspelling your email address during the purchase process) are not grounds for refund of the ticket price.

 

You are not entitled to request a refund of the ticket price unless the Event is cancelled.

 

You may not cancel and/or rescind this contract once you have completed the purchase.

 

If you wish to exchange your ticket for another ticket of equal or higher price, you must contact the Organizer at info@nebext.com. The Organizer will examine the feasibility of your proposed change.

 

5.1 Visa Invitation Policy: To request a letter of invitation to accompany your visa application, all applicants must make a minimum purchase of a Premium VIP Pass for 3 days. Please note that the issuance of the letter of invitation does not guarantee the approval of your Visa application by the relevant authorities. Visa processing and approval is subject to the decision of the respective consulate or embassy. In the event that your Visa application is not approved or you are unable to attend the event for any reason, the ticket purchase is non-refundable according to these general terms and conditions of sale. We will provide the requested invitation letter in accordance with your request, but we are not responsible for the results related to Visa approvals. You will receive the invitation letter enclosed in the registration confirmation email, following your express request via the pass purchase form.

 

6.Conditions of entry to the auditoriums

 

Each auditorium has a limited capacity and entry to the auditoriums will always be on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is reached.

 

The access included with each pass does not guarantee specific access to a conference if the auditorium is full.

 

The access denial to a conference due to full capacity does not entitle you to claim a refund from the organisers.

 

 

7. Transfer of image rights of the Visitors

By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the Visitor grants the Organizer a license to use his/her personal image on the Organizer’s websites and social networks, as well as in press releases, for promotional and advertising purposes.

 

Such license includes the right to reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, make available and transform the photographs taken by the Organizer during the Event in any online or offline format or media, including, without limitation, the Internet, social networks, photographs, videos, software, drawings, publications and electronic media.

 

The Visitor hereby grants this worldwide license to the Organizer free of charge, for the maximum permitted period and without restrictions and/or reservations of any kind.

 

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, he/she releases the Organizer from any liability for damages related to the use of his/her image.

 

Pursuant to the provisions of Organic Law 1/1982, on the civil protection of the right to honor, family privacy and one’s own image, the consent granted by accepting these General Conditions may be revoked at any time.

 

8. Right of admission

Only entrepreneurs and/or professionals will be admitted to the Event. However, in special circumstances, the Organizer may allow the entry of students and/or university staff who meet the requirements established by the Organizer.

 

The Organizer reserves the right to admit to the Event any person who does not meet the professional registration requirements.

 

In addition, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to the Event to any person who does not obey the hygiene and safety measures for the reduction of infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. These measures are indicated on the event website, in different communication media and also in the confirmation email after the registration process.

 

Furthermore, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to the Event to any person with symptoms compatible with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

 

9. Student Pass

Students are allowed to entry on Friday, 27th September 2024 from 13:00 on the last day of the event as long as they come with the corresponding pass and accompanied by their school tutor. If a student is not accompanied and is under age, access to the event will be denied.

 

The persons or entities that are in charge of the Teaching Center will be liable for any damages caused by their minor students during the period of time they are at the event, as well as those arising from their guardianship.

 

The consumption of alcohol is completely prohibited for students, minors or adults, who access the premises and it must be the tutor who is in charge of ensuring that this does not happen.

 

Students must maintain a professional attitude and clothing and the organization reserves the right of admission if they do not meet this and the previous criteria.

 

 

 

10. Links to Websites

The website may include links to websites of third party companies and entities.

 

The Organizer is not responsible for the way in which such companies treat privacy and the protection of personal data. Therefore, we recommend that you read the privacy policy statements included on websites that are not owned by the Organizer for more information on the use, processing and protection of personal data, as the terms and conditions offered on such websites may differ from those offered by the Organizer.

 

11. Modifications

The information appearing on the Website is current as of the date of its last update. The Organizer reserves the right to update, modify and/or delete any information included in this Website.

 

The Organizer reserves the right to unilaterally modify these Terms and Conditions, its Privacy Policy and any other relevant information. Any modification of these General Terms and Conditions shall come into force at the time of its publication on the Website.

 

12. Language

The Organizer may translate these Terms and Conditions, its Privacy Policy and/or any other operational rules or policies published on the Website. In case of conflict, the English version shall prevail.

 

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions are subject to Spanish law.

 

Any dispute regarding the interpretation, execution and/or validity of these General Conditions shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid.

 

14. Hygienic and sanitary safety measures (Business Safe by Nebext)

The Organizer together with the venue and all suppliers involved in the event have prepared a contingency plan. The objective of the considered plan measures are developed to reduce the risk of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection and such indications are based on the UNE 0066-19 Standard of June 2020 for the MICE sector together with the regulations of the Regional Government where the event is held.

 

All visitors are informed and notified about the mandatory hygienic and preventive health and safety measures during the event. The mandatory measures are published on the website as well as in the confirmation email after the registration process and other online and offline communication resources. This will allow all participants to know all implemented measures and possible modifications derived from the current situation.

 

The visitor is aware of, accepts and is responsible for compliance with such measures at any time during his/her visit to the event.

 

The visitor agrees to inform the relevant authorities and the Event Organizer immediately after having symptoms or being diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus during the event or within 14 days after the event.

 

In any case, the Exhibitor exonerates the Event Organizer from any liability whatsoever.
