Carles Vergara-Alert

Carles Vergara-Alert is Professor of Finance and Real Estate at IESE Business School and Senior Advisor for real estate firms and funds. His academic research focuses on how climate risk and frictions in the real estate markets affect the decisions of investors, managers, banks, and households. Carles earned his PhD and a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley as well as a B.A. and an M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the Univ. Politecnica de Catalunya.
